St. Anne & St. Edmund, Parksville is pleased to offer rental venues at reasonable rates and with complimentary parking.  At the intersection of Church and Wembley Roads, we are conveniently located near the Wembley Mall and kitty-corner from a bus stop along BC Transit route # 88.

Rentals include the use of 100+ chairs and a variety of tables as follows: 21 x 6 FT rectangular tables, 10 x 4 FT rectangular tables, 15 x 3 FT square tables and 9 x 5 FT round tables.  Public wi-fi is available and optional kitchen access may be added to rentals for a modest fee. 

Hall - A large, bright and open multi-purpose space, approximately 48 x 35 FT or 1,690 FT square. Capacity is 208 standing and can comfortably seat 100 at tables.  Features stage lighting, acoustic panels & baffles, upright piano and a wall-mounted 65" 4K TV with HDMI inputs and an HD component video input, with digital audio output.

Library - A bright room ideal for small group activities or meetings.  Capacity is 60 standing or 30 seated comfortably.  Approximate size is 35 x 17 FT or 595 FT square.  

St. Edmund's Church Sanctuary - Ideal for musical or theatre group events, the church has a capacity of 200 standing and can comfortably seat 100 or more depending on configuration.  Featuring an audio system, baby grand piano and organ, the approximate size is 75 x 32 FT or 2,655 FT square.


  • Insurance is required for all rentals, with two options available.  Renters may use their own insurance with a minimum of 2 million liability by obtaining a Certificate of Insurance from their provider, with "The Anglican Synod of the Diocese of British Columbia" added as an additional insured for the rental period.  The other option is to obtain 5 million liability insurance from AON Reed Stenhouse by going through this link Facility Rentals | Resources | Anglican Diocese of British Columbia   Examples of some AON rates in January 2024 include about $95.50 for a one-time music recital with 100 people attending or an annual rate of about $160.50 for a full year of monthly support group meetings with 30 people attending. 
  • Rental Agreement - Contact the Parish Administrator by phone at 250-248-3114 or by e-mail at to inquire about venue availability, fees, and filling out a rental agreement form.  Office hours are 9 AM to noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  
  • Respectful Conduct - Renters must read this document and sign the acknowledgement form at the time of signing the rental agreement document.
