The Rev Andrew Twiddy is the Rector (pastor) of the Anglican Parish of St. Anne & St. Edmund, Parksville. He was participating in a program of the Three Interfaith Amigos from Seattle (Rabbi Ted, Imam Jamal, and Pastor Don) at the Bethlehem Centre in Nanaimo, at the time of the attack on the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh (October 27).  In the spirit of the Three Amigos, Andrew promotes the values of love, compassion, and unity as a basis for inter-spiritual co-operation and understanding through the program Spirituality Beyond Borders. Andrew has a degree in Biblical and Classical Hebrew from Glasgow University, Scotland, and as a vocalist and keyboard & guitar musician, he he has taught Hebrew in word and song for many years to seminary students and in other community contexts.
